It was brilliant getting to create content for Hair by Banks, a premium hair salon located in downtown Toronto, ON. Brittney Banks, head stylist, owner and entrepreneur, is a great talent, extremely knowledgable, and at the top of her game in the Hair & Beauty industry.
I paired up with Brittney and her team to create several tutorial videos and highlight reels to feature her stylists’ work, shooting footage continuously over the course of a year.
At each video shoot, I also took the opportunity to capture the salon in action through still images that could be used for social media platforms.
The end result was a body of work that provided Hair by Banks with the freedom to apply video and photography content to any forum. Effortlessly promoting the expertise of the salon’s stylists, and the welcoming and comforting ambiance provided by spending time at Hair by Banks.
